Locks of Love

I am so in love with both these looks! I've already given myself a different style, but I am thinking about color. I love the girls color in the first photo. I would basically be making that change from the bottom to the top. What do you think? Have you done any drastic color changes to your hair? Do you like it? What about the up keep? Worth it?
